“My perspective. You may not agree…and that’s ok.”

2018 ALCS & taking ownership of poor play

Through the ups and the downs. The triumphs and the setbacks. The trials and tribulations. What makes a person keep going? What’s it worth to keep trying? Talent is a factor but does will and an internal drive to succeed outweigh talent on any given day?

And what is a comeback made of?

As humans, our innate nature is to be drawn to a good comeback story, even if the person falls short of their dream, it is entertaining and capti...

Powdered sugar, crazy cups, crowded streets and utterly dense, frizz inducing humidity. Those are the main things that come to mind when people think of a little town called NOLA. Oh….and a bold and flavorful drink known as a hurricane, that when ordered in the right places, will knock you on your ass. But really there is so much more to it than the drunkies roaming Bourbon Street on the weekend (not that there is anything wro...

This post season feels like a euphoric dream.

It’s the day after Game 7. I just witnessed my team winning the World Series on the road in Dodger Stadium. I feel like I have been put through the gauntlet of true sports fandom. I am on a high, I feel hungover and my body released a month’s worth or anxious tension as I have followed my team through the ALDS, ALCS and ….now… one of the best World Series in history.

Is this really w...

“There is nothing better than a Game 7 in any professional sport. It means that the teams have battled to a draw and play one game to decide the best team. Both teams will give it everything they have to win that game. You hope your team wins, you want a great game that isn’t decided by others. It’s for all the marbles.” –JT TEPOLT

I wake up.

What day is it? Am I home?

It’s “America’s Most Beloved Ballpark.” It’s nestled amongst action packed sports bars, coffee shops (including multiple Dunkin Donuts) and dive bar food. It’s close to the city and can be reached by a short subway or Uber ride. It’s atmosphere is absolutely amazing even on a slow game and feels legendary every time you enter the gates or walk down Yawkey Way. It’s Fenway Park. Home of the Green Monster and the Boston Red Sox....

Spring has sprung and summer rays are starting to appear. As we go to wipe the winter slumber from our eyes, we realize that our hibernation has left us lagging and dragging and we are in serious need of an energy boost. There are so many options out there claiming to energize you and get you moving on a daily basis, but so many of those are met with hard crashes from the “high” and you end up taking a day just to feel like yo...

Culture, charm, kindness, history, exercise and breathtaking views.

Those are the first words that come to mind when I think of Mexico City.

Dangerous, trashy, gross, rude and uncharming.

Those are the first words that people told me as they heavily questioned why I would go to Mexico City to see an NFL game.

They told me I was crazy for going.

I now think they are crazy for not.

In November, I flew to Mexico City with 2 very good f...

No! Don’t go to Mexico, it’s dangerous! You could get hurt, you could……HAVE THE TIME OF MY LIFE!

It really is sad to me that traveling to Mexico comes with this air of apprehension to it. When I first announced that I would be traveling to Mexico City for the Texans vs Raiders Football game, my friends and family looked at me as though I had grown an extra head. Although I would be traveling with two of my close friends, they a...

Power. Powerful. Empower. So many thoughts come to mind when I hear these words. They make me feel strong, invincible, aspirational and authoritative. I believe with fitness goals, all of those embody the mindset that we need to have to achieve overall success.

30 minutes . That’s all it takes…not a minute more, not a minute less. Ha, yes I could be taking about a number of things! However in this case, I am talking about forme...
